  2. It’s a Rouen. They are a heavy-weight dual-purpose French breed of duck. We raise Rouens on our farm and like them quite a lot.

    You may be able to integrate her with the new hatchlings; we hatched out four Pilgrim goslings, and then from a second set 10 days later only one hatched. After about a week we put the lone hatchling in with the other four and it worked out OK. They don’t pick on him at all but he has a little trouble keeping up because he is still a lot smaller.
